Towers commissioned our company to install two-way radio antennas
and related items on their new Nashville, Tennessee tower in March of
2003. The mount for the antennas, designed by Ernie Jones of Electronics
Research Incorporated was fabricated by Goff
Communications of Florida. We installed the 2700 pound mount and two-way
radio transmitting antennas at the 500 foot level of the 1289 foot tall
and the receive antennas at the 625 foot platform. The antennas were installed
for a local SMR operator whose system is slated to go on the air by the
first of April 2003. Range studies indicate that the results should be
quite good. |
